As a professional artist my philosophy is to provide archival grade conservation quality original prints, that will endure beyond a lifetime to be enjoyed by future generations, and provide investment quality art.
Bio
I was born in London in 1954, and started drawing at a very young age, having a natural talent for art. As my ability progressed I developed a skill for technical detail. Proficiency in technical drawing and painting is the foundation of my style. During the early seventies I studied graphic art to diploma level, then in 1974 concentrated on my main ambition to work as a professional fine-artist. From this time I worked on portrait commissions, and my first venture into publishing fine-art prints was in the mid seventies. Collecting prints, of a good quality, is an excellent opportunity for people to have the enjoyment of owning an artist's work. I have had a special interest in automobiles since the late sixties, fuelled by the radical custom cars and hot rods of that era.
Style
My eclectic style and individual artistic vision is a combination of the automotive subject matter, digital art medium, and a blending of technical drawing and painting techniques. When drawing or painting I take a creative approach, subtlely emphasising the individual auto's intrinsic design elements. Representing them from a viewpoint to create a dynamic balance in the whole image. Considerable technical detail is combined with painterly creativity. My style is both technical and creative.
Commissions
Commissions for similar original paintings, whether personal or commercial, are welcome. Monochrome drawings, and acrylic paintings, or digital paintings.
For a quotation, e-mail your requirements to me, including subject, size of painting, and shipping destination.
Thank you for your interest...
